What a day on Madison Avenue! Thank you to everyone who joined us for Saturday’s Step Up for Fashion celebration.

Our gratitude to the Council of Fashion Designers of America for its partnership; Casa Tua at The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel, for welcoming us to a fabulous kick-off morning reception; the talented CFDA Scholarship Fund recipients who shared their work and creativity, and the designers and retailers who welcomed back our visitors and customers in style. 

From models showcasing fall looks along the Avenue, to personal styling and fashionable in-store experiences, sidewalk hospitality and plenty of memorable moments — the day was a true celebration of fashion, creativity and community.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to shop and support the participating businesses. Ten percent of the day’s sales at over 50 participating stores benefited the CFDA Scholarship Fund, helping support the next generation of America’s fashion talent.

The third annual Step Up for Fashion on Madison Avenue, began Saturday morning with a reception at Casa Tua, at The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel.

Designer Prabal Gurung , CFDA Board Member, and Matthew Bauer, Madison Avenue BID President, welcomed guests at this celebration of fashion, creativity and philanthropy, and the 30th anniversary of the CFDA Scholarship Fund. A special installation by RAÚL ÀVILA INC showcased the designs and sketches of the Council of Fashion Designers 2026 Scholarship recipients, who were present to meet designers, fashion brands and the Madison Avenue community.

Now onto shopping! More than 50 participating stores will donate 10% of the day’s sales to support the Scholarship Fund. Join us all day for Welcome Back Saturday: fashionable experiences and hospitality on the sidewalks in front of participating stores, including informal presentations of fall looks and displays offering shoppers flowers, beverages, treats and other surprises.

Good Day New York Anchor/Reporter Christal Young Christal Young stopped by Veronica Beard on Friday for an exclusive preview at the new Trailblazer Atelier at the brand’s Madison Avenue flagship — ahead of Welcome Back Saturday/Step Up for Fashion on Saturday, September 19.

The immersive experience invites guests to customize Veronica Beard’s new Trailblazer Dickey Jacket with embroidered mantras and one-of-a-kind finishing touches. On-site tailors will complete each piece, with finished Trailblazers delivered via white-glove courier service the following day.

The Trailblazer Atelier is just one of the special experiences happening during Welcome Back Saturday/Step Up for Fashion, Madison Avenue’s annual celebration of the fall season.
