The personal is the political. What do you stand for?
If you advocate for a better food system and say we need the government to prioritize American Health and wellness, lettuce demonstrated this belief together, today🌱
The best three democratic ways I know how to stand up for what you want to see from government are to vote , protest and call your representatives each day to ask, in this case, for these billions spent on war daily, to stop. 🛑
Get to know the people who answer the phones until your goal is achieved.
They are kind and you can be too. Real power is in you acting on the rights you have. Don’t give them away for convenience or a busy day.
Express your beliefs. Take action to make them known with your local government.
Call your local officials with all the passion you have for the food system you want to see. Don’t do nothing. Also, don’t just retreat and grow food for yourself. If you believe in food for all, stand for that. 🌱
You have power but you are told you don’t. It won’t matter. Break the mold. The most powerful thing you can do is to know that you matter.
It’s so possible to have a food system that feeds all Americans if these tax dollars were not being wasted on war.
We all know that these tax dollars are ours, the people, not theirs , executive branch, to spend as they wish. Lettuce act like it and demand we pull the purse away.
No more war. Food for all Americans instead.
Is that something you can stand for?
You have the power and can equally give it away unknowingly or by not taking action.
If all of us said “ I am the one” we can do this together.
In tandem , start your garden , be the change you want to see in the world 🌎
When we stand united, we stand strong. We have the ability to feed every American, educated every American.
Say no to this war. Say Yes to a better food system. Say yes to a better America. 🇺🇸
Start with a like 👍 then pick up your phones and call your representatives today🌱🥬🙌
