People are still buying and selling, you just don't have 30+ offers the day you list. I mean, yeah, lowest in two years, but still a large amount of competition when compared to pre-Covid time. Maybe this is a great sign that we're really pulling out of pandemic life? Let's find that silver lining, folks.

The average cost of Manhattan apartment rentals surged to the highest ever for a December, with landlords demanding double-digit rent increases amid sharply dwindling supply.

We're still getting renters coming to us wanting "a deal," when a deal would actually be getting the apartment you want. Period. There simply are no discounts. And in some cases, people are bidding up the prices and offering more than the asking rent. It's pretty wild. The market could change, but today, in December, a "winter discount" doesn't look like it's happening.
