New FEMA flood maps for West Pasco should be coming out June 5th. Looking over the preliminary changes there is a lot of coastal communities that are going to benefit from the new maps. I see some zones changing from VE to AE and base flood elevations being lowered by as much as 4 feet! You might want to contact your flood insurance agent after June 5th to see if you can save money. They might even be able to use your current elevation certificate. If you need a new elevation certificate, we charge $225. Call or email Ashley at 727-859-2161, [email protected]

Just got back from a family trip to New York City. While there, we located the only remaining survey bolt from when Manhattan was first surveyed in the early 1800’s. Pretty cool find.

I find it is best to use internet explorer. Click on the magnifying glass to search by address.

Just a head's up...since the first of the year I have had about a 1 week turn around time on survey orders and I can't seem to catch up. Of course, if I can, I always try to work with my clients within their time frame.

At the town hall meeting today Cindy Jolly said that she hopes to have these official by October 2014.
