St. Petersburg and the surrounding area are packed with festivals and performances this weekend, April 10–12, 2026. From classical music to local community celebrations, here are a few highlights:

Taking place along the shores of Upper Tampa Bay at R.E. Olds Park, this long-running community celebration features family-friendly fun on the water. Includes a variety of food vendors and live music performances. Features local community activities and a scenic waterfront atmosphere. Activities run Friday through Sunday with varying hours.

American Stage is performing Stephen Sondheim's iconic musical outdoors at Demens Landing Park Click to open side panel for more information . It is a unique way to experience professional theater with a waterfront backdrop. April 12 is "Pets in the Park Night," making it a great evening for dog owners. Performance starts at 7:00 PM; bring chairs or blankets for seating. The show features a creative reimagining of classic fairy tales.

For a more formal evening, Duke Energy Center for the Arts - Mahaffey Theater hosts the Florida Orchestra for a powerful performance of classical masterworks. Features Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 alongside the U.S. premiere of Tribones. Includes Grofe’s Mississippi Suite in celebration of its 100th anniversary. The venue offers elegant seating with great views of the St. Pete waterfront.
