40 Berkeley Pl- SOLD!
$3,850,000

For those of us who come into this business with zero contacts and connections, doing rentals is a great way to learn the business and slowly build our network. In 2017, introduced me to this owner. I worked the rentals for six years, building trust and establishing myself as her go-to agent. Fast forward to today- I've successfully helped her and her family sell this beautiful property. This isn't my first deal and won't be my last, but I'll admit- this one feels extra nice. Maybe bc of the trust that Sam had in me back then to even introduce me to the (now former) owner. Maybe bc the owner trusted me explicitly over the years. Or maybe... na, I'll just run the rest by my therapist. 🤝

HUGE shoutout to who represented the buyer. It was a great experience doing this deal with someone like him on the other side. Makes what we do even more enjoyable. Thank you!

I’ve always struggled to find an analogy on how helpful therapy is or what it actually does for me. In my mind, I use the example of Tony Stark. He uses Jarvis and throws things around the screen and ends up with a clear answer but those who don’t know Iron Man never get it (🤷🏽‍♂️). This is a much better image. Therapy isn’t just about someone giving you advice. It’s about helping YOU (your damn self bc you’re the one doing the work) sort through all the thoughts and worries and come up with a clear picture of where it all stems from. Therapists are there to facilate the thought process, create a safe space and then assist in giving tips on how to navigate through difficult situations, stress, anxiety and creating healthy coping mechanisms. We all require different kinds of therapy and use different outlets to cope but the end goal is the same: to be mentally healthy and live a happy life.

Took 10 years (!!!) but I finally finished. Feels amazing to check something off the “bucket-list” but it’s equally satisfying to see the happiness that this brought to my parents and loved ones. All the late nights, 10+ papers, procrastination, classes that seem(ed) irrelevant, etc. were all worth it.

Huge congratulations to all those who have graduated either years ago, this year or in the process of doing so.

Today marks my 5 year anniversary in Real Estate. I went from knowing absolutely nothing about real estate to being obsessed with this business. It is all i think about, it’s all I do and all I’m focused on. I work all day, 7 days a week... and i love it. I earned $500 in my very first month (gross, not net 🤦🏽‍♂️). That didn’t discourage me though. Instead, it motivated me to grow and do better. Today, the hunger and drive is greater than it’s ever been. I take rejections in the business personally at times (I have no shame admitting it) because I genuinely give a s**t. I care about who I work with, who I represent, the neighborhood I’m selling or renting in, etc. It isn’t transactional for me so hearing no from anyone in the business stings especially since i firmly believe and know that I’m the right agent for the job. The feeling of being of service to everyone from developers/investors to buyers, people who are looking to sell, etc. is fulfilling, rewarding and addicting. So 5 years down... I’m only getting started 🏘🏡🌃🔑🏆

I end 26 on a great note; a year I’ll never forget. I welcome year 27 w/ a few more white hairs, less friends but more family and an even greater drive to do good. I appreciate all of those who have reached out privately to wish me a Happy Birthday. For those who haven’t or forgot, i like: both white & red wine, i wear size 11.5 in Nikes/12 in Adidas or just simply wine. Yeah...wine. 😬
