More and more new construction homes are being built with “passive radon systems” while these types of system are sometimes effective to an extent it is still important to test! We often find passive systems installed improperly and doing nothing except giving the homeowner a false sense of security. This home had a pipe in the slab that wasn’t even all the way through the concrete 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
