One question we hear often is, “Why doesn’t Phoenix Used Clothing Corp. accept furniture?”

The answer is simple: our recycling permit, issued by DNREC, allows us to collect and process textiles and certain small household items, not furniture. As a permitted textile recycler, we must follow strict guidelines to remain compliant and continue providing this important environmental service.

We gladly accept clothing, shoes, linens, stuffed animals, and many small household toys. These items can be reused, repurposed, or recycled, helping reduce waste and extend their useful life. Furniture, however, falls outside the scope of our permit and cannot be accepted through our collection program.

Every bag contributed helps keep valuable materials out of Delaware landfills and supports a more sustainable future.

🚨WORKING CATS AVAILABLE🚨
Some of our rescue cats have come from unsafe conditions and are not suited to be indoor pets but thrive as barn cats. In exchange for food, water, and shelter, these cats will help control your rodent population.
During the four-week acclimation period, all equipment and supplies will be provided and delivered. All cats are sterilized and vaccinated and can be delivered for free to PA, DE, NJ, MD, and VA properties.
Faithful Friends recognizes the unique needs of these cats and is committed to helping them live a safe and happy life.
