While some agents are getting creative like this to keep business going as usual, we have been preparing for the changes to the industry. Commissions cannot be advertised in the MLS.
You no longer are required to pay a buyer agent commission. It is now a negotiated piece of the transaction under the new rules. Our listing fee is 1.75% If another agent brings the buyer their commission will be negotiated. If the buyer comes directly to us you will not have to pay another agent’s commission.
