Alot of homes in the city of Newark have galvanized pipes for their water service lines. The problem with galvanized water lines is they rust from the inside out. Which can lead to contaminates entering drinking water as well restricted flow to fixtures.

The City of Newark is currently offering to replace these old service lines at no cost to the homeowner. Simply click the link, fill out the information and you will be added to the list.

The common name "carpenter bee" derives from their nesting behavior; nearly all species burrow into hard plant material such as dead wood or bamboo. Carpenter Bees are considered a wood destroying insect in the state of Ohio. The female carpenter bee often burrow galleries into the soffit & fascia around the home to lay her eggs. The damage they cause is often more annoying than serious.
