Roger Smith got a $10,000 price reduction after being on the market for over 30 days. We did receive one offer on it but were too far apart. Right now, about 30% of houses on the market in Newberg have experienced a price reduction so this is not unusual. Between seasonality and with rates creeping up on 7%, there’s a good chance that we’ll be waiting this market out for the right buyer, which we know is out there. These clients, nor any seller I’m aware of are not desperate to sell so don’t expect large price reductions (unless a home started absurdly over-priced) or sellers to have knee jerk reactions to market conditions. This market has shown itself to be slow and steady.
