Did you know that turnout for this election is incredibly low? As of May 14th, only 20% of Republicans and 19.7% of Democrats have turned in their ballots. The numbers are even worse for independents, non affiliated and Libertarian. VOTE< VOTE< VOTE

Edwards Elementary School Assistant Principal David Jaimes has resigned to take the position of Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation with the Reynolds School District. He will remain in his current position at Edwards until he begins his new role on January 18, 2022.
“Mr. Jaimes has been a great member of our Edwards community and we will miss him,” said Edwards Elementary Principal Scott Murphy. “But I am also happy for him to pursue his passions in an even larger role than assistant Principal!”
“Today I am filled with mixed emotions. I am full of hope and excitement, but also sad,” said Mr. Jaimes. “I am excited that I will be able to affect change at a district level and work with the rest of the team to ensure that we are creating equitable outcomes for all of the students.”
