No no no, do not reduce the size of your blow of leg. If the pressure release valve opens it won’t be able to release the pressure fast enough and it will most likely blow that leg off and start releasing super heated water into its surrounding area.

This is why you should always have a termite inspection when buying an older home. Seller said they have never had any termites but I’d say otherwise.

There’s double taps and then there is this. Neutrals and grounds together with 2-3 wires in one lug. And there are several empty lugs that can remedy this issue.

Once in a while you may want to stick your head in your attic to make sure everything looks correct. Here you see the dryer vent stack missing the dryer vent hose. Somehow it became disconnected and who knows how long the dryer was blowing most air into the attic. This can create mold over time which nobody wants growing in their home.

If you have a solar pool heater, make sure you periodically check for leaks. The chlorine ate through the metal and rotted the roof decking. A simple fix if caught in time could have prevented thousands of dollars in damage.

This is great for insulation, makes it tough for wind mitigation’s. This created a lot of extra time spent in the attic but we were able to get it done.

This is a common problem I see in many homes. There are two wires in the same lug in this photo, but there are multiple open lugs next to it. There should be one wire per lug only.

This is why we use drones. Up close you couldn’t make out the color difference which were repaired due to damage. The drone makes them stand out.
