How many refrigerators is too many?

Just sold this ultimate entertainment home with five refrigerators. This holds the record for most refrigerators I’ve ever sold in one transaction.

✔️ Thermador fridge + wine cooler
✔️ Two beverage fridges (one for seltzers, one for adult beverages 🍾)
✔️ And yes… a garage fridge, of course

Too many or just enough for entertainment? We even negotiated one of the comfiest, largest couches I’ve ever seen to stay, plus a hot tub and a generator. This house is ready to party in any weather.

Dreaming of pool days and Newburyport summer? Us too. ☀️

This client came to me hoping for a very specific unicorn: a turnkey South End Newburyport home with an inground pool, 3+ bedrooms, and a reasonable price. I set realistic expectations and was honest with her —only one home like that had sold in the past year—but I was still determined to make it happen.

Through networking, neighborhood deep dives, and a lot of windshield time, I found the perfect one before it hit the market. We were the first showing, wrote a strategic offer, and were under agreement before she boarded a flight to Hawaii the next day. 🌺

Then came the sprint: staging, prepping, photographing, and selling her current home quickly so she wasn’t carrying two mortgages.

Now we’re all patiently waiting on the snow to melt, to see the grass again, open the pool, and experience the true Newburyport lifestyle.

Five years ago today, I sold my very first home — a $255,000 house (a price point that hardly exists anymore). I was a young, brand-new agent trying anything I could to make it in the real estate world. I cold called, sent out mailers, toured homes with strangers with just a few minutes’ notice, sat through a zillion trainings, went to every networking event and did whatever it took to build a business.

Taylor took a chance on me and trusted me when he didn’t even know me, and I worked incredibly hard on that first sale to prove myself.

Fast forward to now, I’ve sold over 100 homes and have built a real estate business rooted in relationships. I am now lucky to work nearly exclusively by referral. And while I may not have to meet random strangers in abandoned houses any more with 5 minutes’ notice, I still work just as hard for every referral, every friend, and every past client I get to help.
