Rewind: I had just taken a listing 2 doors down (1969 Federal) . I was out front of 1969 one afternoon painting some new curb numbers as well as cleaning up the yard and doing some landscaping. A neighbor walks up to me and asks, “hey man, how much are you charging for curb paintings?” I said well, I don’t really do this I’m actually listing this house and just kind of doing my thing to get it ready to go to market. He said you’re doing all that yourself to get this house ready? I told him ya, I just enjoy tinkering on little projects. I asked him where he lives and we talked for a little bit, I handed him my business card and he walked away. 20 or so minutes later he drove back up with his wife gave me his card and asked how much do you think my house is worth? He mentioned, we might be moving in a couple years. Fast forward, I provided good information, value and we created a relationship. No fake buyer, no fake numbers, no fake bullsh*t. Just honesty, truth and hardwork. I got a call a few months later that they were ready to go. So happy to call these clients new friends and provide a service and business I can stand behind 100% . 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Every deal is different when working with sellers, but the main goal is usually similar. On the other hand, there are many different factors in how an agent gets you to that result. In this case, there were many behind the scenes details that took place in order to make this home sellable. City permits, the demolition of a garage build out, pool equipment, replacing appliances that a past tenant had taken, etc…. With a client who lived out of state, Carter and I rolled our sleeves up, picked up hammers, loaded appliances in and out of the truck, all in order to help our client expedite the process.
