Are we in a recession? In this video we will discuss what the housing market has shown us in preparation for the big recession news coming up soon. Remember, a recession is based on past data that doesn't necessarily predict the future. That being said, be ready for a lot of news outlets to come out with some provocative headlines if we do get a confirmed recession.

Most importantly, keep in mind that many people have been able to BUILD their wealth during a recession by planning ahead of time for the bad news. My hope is that my videos can assist you in doing the same!

The WHOLE COUNTY just fell...

Orange County is not immune to the massive interest rate hikes that our buyers have seen. Homes are starting to sit on the market and price reductions have come back into play as sellers attempt to get their home sold quickly in a decreasing buyer pool. Inflation doesn't help our demand issue either, with buyers now facing tough decisions regarding every day commodities. If you have been looking to sell, cue my broken record, now is the time to do it before things get worse!

Time to sell in Newport! | Newport Beach Market Monday

A lot of home owners in Newport Beach decided to sell in May, which is great for our inventory! The problem is, a lot of buyers have left and are continuing to leave the market due to high interest rates. This leads to the highest inventory level for Newport in a year while prices begin to fall off their peak in March. It's a good time to sell before demand gets worse and prices drop even further!

The Truth about the Real Estate Market Crash... | My Predictions

Is the real estate market going to "crash"? This has been a question every agent has gotten over the past two years, and while there is not much backing a crash, crash, my prediction is that we are going to see prices come down for the short term. Inflation is out of control, the stock market is falling, interest rates are shooting up, and our buyer demand is exhausted and turning away from the market. The truth is, things are changing and that's not necessarily a bad thing!

Keep in mind that every city is different so while some of these things should apply to most of the country, not all of it will. That is why it is so important to work with an agent you can trust to dive through the data and let you know where things are headed.
