🚧 Roadwork Notice 🚧

Roadwork has begun along Culver Drive from Walnut to the I-5 Freeway and is expected to continue through the winter. The project includes asphalt rehabilitation; removing and replacing curbs, gutters, curb ramps, and sidewalks; utility protection; pavement delineations; and modifying traffic signals. This project will also lengthen the southbound Culver Drive left-turn pockets at Scottsdale.

Work will take place Monday through Friday, typically between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., except in the vicinity of I-5 FWY, Southbound off-ramp, where work will be limited to the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Every effort is being made to keep traffic flowing and minimize disruptions, but we highly encourage drivers to consider alternate routes.

Just a reminder that Adventure Playground will be closed tomorrow through Friday, September 30, as we install an exciting new feature.

When we reopen Saturday, October 1, an interactive rock structure will be available for children to build sand dams and channels with the ability to send a rush of water through the channels with a push of a button.

We look forward to seeing what kids young and old will create at the new Mud Puddle!

Join us in celebrating an honored tradition at Great Park when the City of Irvine and the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center host the Mid-Autumn Festival Friday, September 9, from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, is celebrated by many East and Southeast Asian communities, and those in our community. It dates back more than 3,000 years when the Emperor of China worshipped the moon for bountiful harvests.

This free festival will feature family-friendly activities, including live music, dance, and poetry performances, cultural exhibits, and a festive atmosphere. All ages are welcome and no registration is required.
