From Newport to Catalina, this weekend was filled with stunning views at every turn — from hiking high above the coastline to taking in the iconic Casino, wandering through Avalon, and soaking up the energy of the Catalina Wine Mixer. The island has a way of slowing everything down, where ocean breezes and panoramic views become the main event.

Catalina really feels like a little slice of Europe tucked along the California coast — charming, timeless, and effortlessly beautiful. A perfect reminder that some of California’s best escapes are right in our own backyard ✨

Getting to tour the iconic Albert Frey House II this weekend was such an incredible experience. Perched above Palm Springs and built directly into the rocky hillside, the home feels completely connected to the desert around it.

What surprised me most was how intentionally small the space is — every inch has a purpose. From the way the light moves through the house to the multi-functional design, it’s easy to see why Albert Frey was so ahead of his time. Truly one of the coolest homes I’ve ever stepped inside.
