Contact me at 757-344-6753 or [email protected] Hi, I’m Alison! in Marketing and Event Management/Tourism.

I was raised in Yorktown and attended George Mason University, where I obtained a B.S. After graduation and marrying my high school sweetheart, Josh, we relocated back here to Coastal Virginia to begin our lives together. In 2021, we welcomed our son Benjamin after battling 7 years of infertility. Josh and I bought our first home in 2013 (a fixer-upper Cape Cod in Hidenwood with plenty of wood pan

eling) and that experience lit my heart on fire for real estate. I loved the entire process: checking out listings, negotiations, picking my agent’s brain about every possible outcome, and most importantly, turning the key to our new home at the end of the process. I’ll never forget the rainy weather on our closing day, how musty and dusty the house was from being vacant, and even though we had no toilet paper, we finally had a place to call our own. That feeling…is amazing, y'all. I look forward to having the opportunity to help you have a similar feeling of your own. I am no stranger to helping guide my clients through huge, life-changing decisions, having spent 10 years in the wedding and event industry before entering the real estate world in 2016. I thrive on the joy of witnessing a client seeing everything they’ve wanted come to fruition, building relationships, and delighting people with above-and-beyond service. On a personal note, I love a good Sunday brunch, spending time with our pups Otis and Ulysses, Hamilton: The Musical, paper planners and trying new local craft brews! I have an unhealthy obsession with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (GO PACK GO!), yellow front doors, a beautiful vintage wallpaper (DON'T TEAR IT OUT), and helping my clients find THEIR happy place, whether it be a wood-paneled palace of your own or a move-in ready residence! Give me a call. I would love to chat about working for you!

You'll never catch me saying buying a home is the best option for everyone at all times. Homeownership is a commitment and sometimes it can pay off big and sometimes it can be an annoying AF thorn in your side.

If you want someone who won't lay on the fake "oh, of COURSE it's a great time to buy" BS and will actually help you decipher if buying is right for you, let's chat. ❤

I’m not going to lie and tell you moving is fun. Sometimes it’s exciting. Sometimes it’s exhausting. Sometimes it’s both in the same hour.

But the purchase or sale part also doesn’t have to feel confusing, chaotic, or like you’re doing everything wrong.

My whole thing is: clear communication, honest advice, and making sure you never feel alone in the process - from the first “are we actually doing this?” conversation to closing day.

So if this made you think, “Okay… yeah. That’s the vibe I want,” DM me MINI CONSULT and we’ll set up a quick, no-pressure call to talk through what your next step actually is. 🫶

Maybe part of why the market feels “bad” right now is just because it’s not FULL ON CHAOS.

In 2021, it felt like everyone was buying a house. Every scroll was a “we’re homeowners!!” post. So of course it made people think, “Wait..should I be moving too?”

Here’s the truth: homes are selling. People are moving. They’re just doing it on purpose now.

Less chaos.
More thought.
Way fewer panic offers at 11:47 p.m.

So if you’ve been wondering whether you missed your window, you didn’t. The window just looks different.

If you want to talk through what this market would look like for you,
DM me MINI CONSULT and we’ll find a time to chat it out, no pressure, no spiral. 🫶

I was scared to become “the weird talks-about-death-too-much girl.”

Like… if I talk too openly about grief, probate, and executor chaos, would people stop calling me for “normal, happy” real estate?

Would I only be associated with the hardest seasons? Would joy quietly exit my business?

Here’s what I’ve learned instead in the last 23 weeks since I first posted about my Legacy Package and 3 weeks since announcing Death & Real Estate :

Talking about death doesn't make my work darker. It made it truer.

It made me more patient. More grounded. More honest. More protective of the people who trust me with big decisions.

I’m still very much open for:
✨ first homes
✨ dream homes
✨ “we’re just ready for something new” homes
✨ happy, boring, champagne-at-closing homes

And I've been showing up to those transactions with more confidence, honesty, and joy than ever.

Because I’ve seen what happens when people don’t plan for the what-ifs.
I’ve seen the mess left behind.
I’ve lived the admin, the guilt, the paperwork, the panic, the grief.

And now I see it as a responsibility - not JUST a brand pivot or addition - to share what I have learned.

Not to scare people.
Not to be morbid.
But to be honest.

Life doesn’t separate itself neatly into “happy transactions” and “hard ones.”
People move because they’re growing, and because they’re grieving, and sometimes both at the same time.

I’m not the weird death girl.
I’m just a girl who was already weird but knows what really matters when s**t hits the fan.

And that makes all of my work better.
