I was raised in Yorktown and attended George Mason University, where I obtained a B.S. After graduation and marrying my high school sweetheart, Josh, we relocated back here to Coastal Virginia to begin our lives together. In 2021, we welcomed our son Benjamin after battling 7 years of infertility. Josh and I bought our first home in 2013 (a fixer-upper Cape Cod in Hidenwood with plenty of wood paneling) and that experience lit my heart on fire for real estate. I loved the entire process: checking out listings, negotiations, picking my agent’s brain about every possible outcome, and most importantly, turning the key to our new home at the end of the process. I’ll never forget the rainy weather on our closing day, how musty and dusty the house was from being vacant, and even though we had no toilet paper, we finally had a place to call our own. That feeling…is amazing, y'all. I look forward to having the opportunity to help you have a similar feeling of your own. I am no stranger to helping guide my clients through huge, life-changing decisions, having spent 10 years in the wedding and event industry before entering the real estate world in 2016. On a personal note, I love a good Sunday brunch, spending time with our pups Otis and Ulysses, Hamilton: The Musical, paper planners and trying new local craft brews! I have an unhealthy obsession with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (GO PACK GO!), yellow front doors, a beautiful vintage wallpaper (DON'T TEAR IT OUT), and helping my clients find THEIR happy place, whether it be a wood-paneled palace of your own or a move-in ready residence!
