To those that don't know me I am many things. I am mom to 3 great adult children, a Yaya to 7 "perfect" grandchildren, a daughter to my parents, a sister to my wonderful brothers and sister and an aunt to my nieces and nephews. Why do I start with my family, instead of my job skills? Because family is important to me and is why I wanted to be a real estate agent. Not only for my family but your fa
mily as well. I am a military brat and I wear that title proudly! My father served in the Navy and we went were the Navy sent him. I have seen many areas of this great country with our final home base being Virginia. From my early teen years until my mid 20's I grew up and lived in Virginia Beach, VA. After that I spent about 12 years in the beautiful state of Kentucky. In 2004, I came back home to Virginia, why? This is where most of my family was. I did not start my Real Estate venture until August of 2016. So what in the world did I do before that? First and foremost I raised my children. I was a stay-at-home mom for several years. But I have also worked several jobs and volunteered for several things that more than prepared me for this venture into Real Estate. In the 80's I did several jobs: worked in my schools printing press room, server/cashier at Taco Bell, casher/Deli Farm Fresh, telemarketer (yes, I did cold calling trying to sell cemetery plots for Woodlawn Cemetery), and I ended the 80's working for a personnel hiring service company. In the 90's I stayed at home for a few years then worked in the meat department of Kroger, I worked my way up from teller to management for Union Planters bank while going to college. I have been selling Tupperware for almost 21 years, as well. My Tupperware clients, become my friends and several have become like family. After moving back to Virginia I continued to sell Tupperware and volunteered at Denbigh High School as the PTSA, Vice President, and President of the Band Booster, President for a combined total of 8 years. I held several positions at Food Lion over a 3 year period, working my way up from cashier to Deli/Bakery manager. After dabbling in real estate law in college and several life changes since moving back to Virginia, I decided to start selling real estate in 2016. Of course this is now my "job" but it is more than that to me. It is about helping others, whether you are buying or selling I want to help you and your family. When you are purchasing a home, whether it is your first home or your retirement home I want to be there to help you. Take the time to find what you are looking for and what you need. If you are selling your home I want to be there to help you every step of the way. From getting your home ready, to getting you the best price for your home, to helping you relocate your family. This adventure is only a few years old for me but I love what I do. I love meeting new people and exploring the homes in Hampton Roads and beyond. Join me on this venture and let me help you find your next home or sell your current home.
