This week, our residents took a trip to the Mariners' Museum!

We learned about local maritime history and loved learning more about the Ironclads: the USS Monitor and the CSS Virginia! We look forward to expanding our knowledge on more museum trips!

We're feeling crafty here at The Arbor!

This week, we created our own hot air balloon images using paint and buttons!

We painted canvases and strategically glued buttons on them to create adorable 3-D hot air balloons. We had a blast creating them and are so happy with how they turned out!

Summer has arrived!

Our residents enjoyed a lunch outing to Crab Shack on the James! We dined on soft-shell crabs, crab cakes, and oysters! It was a delightful time on the water with friends as we soaked up the sun!

This week, our residents enjoyed another fun art class with Emily!

We made five different paintings on mini canvases inspired by Hispanic culture for the month of Cinco de Mayo.

We had a lovely afternoon tea celebrating Mother's Day!

We enjoyed a special brunch in our beautifully decorated dining room, while enjoying finger sandwiches, and hot tea perfect for a warm afternoon.
