Please understand that maintenance services including after hours emergency service may be affected during storm.
In the event of a true life threatening emergency, such as a fire or gas leak, please call 911.
For all other maintenance calls that are non-life threatening, please call: 844-578-7549 and leave a message with your service request.
Service requests will be responded to as soon as it is safe to do so and after the storm passes.
Please follow the instructions listed below to prepare your family and your apartment home.
Please remember that in extreme weather events such as this, we must follow the instructions of local authorities if evacuations are ordered, or if states of emergencies or curfews are implemented.
Please stay tuned to the local news in our area.
•A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are a possible threat within 24 to 36 hours in the specified region.
•A Hurricane Warning means that hurricane conditions are expected in a specified region in 24 hours or less. • Hurricanes may include winds up to 100mph.
•This storm may impact driving conditions, cause surges, flooding, downed trees and widespread power outages along the eastern coastline.
Below are steps that you should take now to help prevent property damage and personal injury:
Remove all items from the patio or carport: place them inside your apartment as well as ensure all apartment windows are properly and securely closed. This includes: patio furniture hanging plants, wind chimes, flags, etc. Please notify the office if you know that your neighbors are away so we may assist with securing their items.
Power Failure: Should the power service be lost, we suggest the following: You should have a flashlight for each person in your home and additional batteries.
Please do not use candles. Candles are not an approved light source in our communities. Candles can easily catch fire on curtains, lamp shades and other items when left unattended. Glow sticks are another light source that you can utilize in a power outage. Ensure laptops and cell phones are fully charged prior to the storm. Utilize text messaging to communicate with family and friends to preserve battery life. Have a battery‐operated radio so you can get weather updates if the power is out.
Refrigerated/frozen items will stay safe for 24 hours without electricity, if you do not open the doors
too often. Find out how to keep food safe during and after and emergency by visiting www.Foodsafety.gov.
Flooding and Leaks: Have towels available to place around air conditioning units, or windows as a driving rain may result in water intrusion. Please call and report any and all leaks to emergency maintenance number.
Have the following personal information/items available:
1.Inform family and friends where you will be during the storm. Have their important contact information available in case you cannot access it on your phone or computer.
2.Liability and Renters insurance policy number and contact information for your carrier or representative.
3. Health insurance coverage policy numbers and identification cards to include your driver’s license.
4. Prescriptions filled and any other medications needed on hand.
5. First aid kit available for your family.
6.Have cash on hand. In the event of widespread power outages, ATM’s and banks may not be operational.
7. Fill your car with gas.
8. Have enough water available for all family members and pets for 3 days.
9. Have non‐perishable food on hand and a manual can opener.
10.Have activities such as coloring books and crayons for small children to help the time pass in the event of a power outage.
