Your “Zestimate” Isn’t Your Home’s Value! I know… Zillow says your home is worth a certain amount, and it’s tempting to take that number as fact.

But here’s what Zillow doesn’t know:

❌ The updates you’ve made inside
❌ The condition of your home
❌ Whether your kitchen was remodeled or is original from 1995
❌ The view from your back porch
❌ That your neighbor’s “comparable” home needed major repairs
❌ Current buyer demand in your specific area

Zillow’s Zestimate is generated by an algorithm. It doesn’t walk through your home, talk to buyers, analyze showing activity, or understand the local market the way a real market analysis does.

I’ve seen homes sell for tens of thousands more than their Zestimate and I’ve seen some sell for less.

If you’re thinking about selling, don’t make decisions based solely on a Zestimate.
