🚨 PLEASE SHARE – HELP IDENTIFY THESE INDIVIDUALS 🚨

NEWPORT, Maine

Last night at approximately 10:30 PM, one individual in a group of 4-5 was captured on camera attempting to access vehicles in the area of Goodwin Street, Park Avenue, and Elm Street.

The photo is not great but we’re hoping someone in the community may recognize clothing, shoes, posture, or other details that could help identify the individuals involved.

This incident affected local residents, including an elderly tenant who was understandably concerned by what occurred. Our goal is not to create unnecessary conflict or speculation. Our goal is simple: identify those responsible, hold them accountable, and prevent future incidents from happening in our neighborhood. The police are busy with bigger issues so burdening them is not our objective.

If you recognize anyone in these photos, or if you have security camera footage from the area between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM, please send me a private message. Any information will be treated confidentially.

A reward is being offered for information that leads to the identification of those involved. Message us directly if you would prefer not to share publicly.

Please share this post and tag neighbors, friends, and families who live in or around the Goodwin Street, Park Avenue, and Elm Street area. Someone may recognize a sweatshirt, a pair of shoes, or another detail that helps identify these individuals.

The town is repairing the water line on North st Newport. Water should be back by the end of the day. Thank you for your patience.

Broken water main in Newport. Discovered at 4am. Most of downtown Newport will be out of water until it’s fixed. Please spread the word.
They are working on it as of 5:12am.
