🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation experienced a darkness that changed us forever.

Today, we remember every innocent life taken that morning. We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders and ordinary Americans who demonstrated extraordinary courage. We remember the families who said goodbye without knowing it would be the last time.

For a friend of ours, this day is personal as well.

Among the many souls lost in the Twin Towers was the loved one of a dear friend — someone whose life, friendship and memory did not end on September 11. Like thousands of other families and friends across this country, our friend carries that memory forward.

Behind every photograph, every name engraved on a memorial and every number associated with that terrible day was a human being who was loved by someone.

Today, we honor them all.

May we never forget those we lost.
May we never forget the heroes.
May we never forget what September 11 taught us about courage, sacrifice and humanity.

Blood was visible on the porch—but what can those stains actually reveal? Could the patterns indicate movement, direction, a possible sequence of events, or another explanation entirely?

Tonight, Jennifer and Glen are joined live by Dr. Heidi M. Sievers, an IAI-Certified Bloodstain Pattern Analyst and Certified Crime Scene Analyst, for an in-depth forensic examination of the porch photographs and video connected to the Nancy Guthrie case.

Dr. Sievers will explain how a trained analyst evaluates the size, shape, direction, location, and distribution of bloodstains—and, just as importantly, what cannot be proven from recorded imagery alone.
