Buying a home for the long-term has always been a good idea...here's why. Most people buy and live in their home for at least 10 years. Since 1942, if you bought a home and held it for 10 years, you would have only lost money one year–if you bought a home in 2006. In every other scenario, you would have created a massive amount of wealth–the chart shows how much you would have gained 10 years later for each 100k your home was worth. The bottom line is that the housing situation could not be more opposite than 2006 and housing has almost always proved to be one of the very best investments over the long term. Happy Thanksgiving!🍗I wanted to share a picture that shows what Thanksgiving is about. This picture is from the KW Chestnut Hill Pie Day event on Sunday. I partnered with five other fantastic🥇Realtors from my office (Janet Pocaro, Ellen Dudley, Cheryl Learner, Russ Bradchulis, Andrew Lloyd) to put on event where we gave pies to our past clients to say "thank you." As part of the event, we asked our clients to consider donating to the Newton Food Pantry (https://newtonfoodpantry.org/). Folks were so generous we filled two carloads with food🛒as well as received online🤑donations. It is truly a blessing to work with good people who care about others.🙏Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who came out to my Pie Day🥧event on Sunday!😁It was sunny but it was also pretty chilly🥶. It really meant a lot to me to see so many clients & friends despite the cold. I love🥰doing this event because it reminds how lucky I am to have so many awesome people in my life supporting me.
