Sometimes the right house is worth the wait. After missing out on a few homes, despite doing everything right, these buyers did not give up. Each offer taught us something, and when this home hit the market, they knew it was the one. This time, we went all in. We submitted an offer so strong that the sellers canceled every remaining showing and the open house.

Unbeknownst to me, when I started working with this new buyer, she had almost bought a house in this development 22 years ago. It was the one that got away. This was the first home that I recommended we tour. It felt right immediately, but it’s scary to make an offer on the first house you see. We went and looked at 4 more. And guess what?
