Two challenging deals, two different stories! 🫶🏼
One first-time-homebuyer purchasing his very first multifamily home. He’ll be living in one side while making rental income from the other 👏🏼 This home find was very exciting because most multifamily homes are found in more urban areas, but my client comes from a rural hometown and prefers more space/privacy. He got the best of both worlds, with a happy, paying tenant already in place!

And one seller family who is trading their New England home for southern sunshine living! 🚚📦

Both of these deals had a challenge presented at almost EVERY stage it seemed. But great agents on the opposite side of both sales made the problem solving and mediating part of the job much easier. Everyone is now closed and happy! 🤗

📦🚚Back in April I received a call from this family, making a big jump for a job switch up to New England. One big concern was the logistics of their timeline. The other was finding the right home from seven states away. Some clients prefer virtual showings/home buying in this case, but in-person was very important to them!

✈️ So they booked a flight up for six days with this goal: view a bunch of homes, find the right one, win it, and complete their inspections. All in person before flying home!

🏡 So I cleared my week, and scheduled almost a dozen showings for their first 24 hours here. This home in particular was not on their radar initially, but I urged them to just take a look. Well, they fell in LOVE with that back deck view, and it checked off every box they had! We had an accepted offer by that very next morning!🥳🥳 Inspections a couple days after that, and a nice closing credit negotiated for some chimney work it needed 👏🏼 They got to fly home knowing they locked in the perfect house!

We closed on time, and with extra breathing room for them before the new job start date.

Moving states doesn’t have to be so stressful if you have the right team guiding you! If you, or someone you know, need help with the overwhelming task of buying in a new state, don’t be afraid to reach out!

📖I helped Sam buy this condo back in 2022. It was the perfect fit for his job transfer to New England. And then the best little income producing investment rental for a time when he moved out and got married! Now they’re moving south, and it was time to pass it along to the next person for their first phase of home ownership🙏🏼

Love getting to see someone use a modest property as a profit stepping stone for their next chapter💛💛
