It’s hard to put into words how proud of you I am💙
For those who don’t know, my husband is pursuing his dream of becoming a Coast Guard rescue swimmer, and tomorrow that journey officially begins in California. For the next six months, we’ll be apart while he goes through school and works toward earning that title.
Two years ago, our lives looked completely different. After five years of working side by side and building a successful business together, some pretty unfortunate circumstances led us to close that chapter and both make huge career changes. Going from spending 24/7 together to building separate careers has been a huge adjustment.
But, watching you find something this meaningful makes every difficult moment feel worth it. The rescue swimmer motto is “So Others May Live", and I don’t think there could be a better reflection of who you are at your core.
These next six months won’t be easy, but there’s no one I believe in more. Everything you set your mind to, you've accomplished. Whether it's convincing me to convert a school bus into a tiny home and living in it while we travel around America, or completing an Ironman in under 10 hours, you've never been afraid to dream big and go after it. You continue to amaze me, and I know this will be no different.
Sometimes the hardest chapters of your life lead you exactly where you’re meant to be...
