A few friends, family, and coworkers have asked what supplements I take and why, so I figured I’d share it here.
Fair warning… the list looks a little intense 😆
But I didn’t start all of these at once. I’ve added things over time based on what actually makes a difference for me.
I research things pretty heavily before I add anything to our routine, so these are the ones that have stuck.
The ones I personally would not skip:
• Glutathione
• Vitamin D3 + K2
• Creatine
• Magnesium Glycinate
• AgeMate Longevity Blend
Other ones I like:
• Collagen
• NAC
Here’s the short version of why I take them:
Glutathione – Often called the body’s master antioxidant. I personally notice less brain fog, better focus, and a mood boost. I also started giving it to Jonny because of the medications he’s on and his history of multiple surgeries.
Vitamin D3 + K2 – These work together because K2 helps move calcium into bones instead of arteries. Since we started consistently taking these, sickness in our house has noticeably dropped. Considering Oliver goes to school, and Jonny and Joey work at Urban Air (aka germ central), I’ll take that as a win.
Creatine – I started this when I got back into the gym and have seen improvements in strength, endurance, and muscle definition. It helps your muscles produce energy during workouts and is one of the most researched supplements out there.
Magnesium Glycinate – This one has been amazing for sleep. Magnesium helps relax muscles and calm the nervous system. I take it about 20–30 minutes before bed and fall asleep more easily now.
AgeMate Longevity Blend – I’ve been taking this for about 4 months, and it’s probably the supplement I feel the most. Not a caffeine energy… more like you suddenly realize you’re way more productive than usual. Tip: start with the half-dose as the directions say (I learned that the hard way).
Collagen – I mostly take this as an easy way to get extra protein. It also supports hair, skin, nails, joints, and gut health.
NAC – NAC helps your body produce glutathione and supports liver detoxification, lungs, and antioxidant protection. I don’t necessarily “feel” this one, but it supports a lot behind the scenes.
For me, supplements aren’t magic — they’re just tools that support overall health along with good food, exercise, sleep, and lifestyle habits.
I’m definitely not a doctor — just someone who enjoys researching health and figuring out what works for my family.
I’m curious…
What is ONE supplement you swear by?
