We convince ourselves it's a new routine, a vacation, or a complete life reset...

An iced coffee that somehow tastes better when you're not in a hurry.

One of the things I tell almost every family who reaches out is this...

Please don't decide whether Destin/30a is "the place" after one long weekend.

Vacation and everyday life are two completely different experiences.
Before you make such a big decision, spend time here when you're not on vacation.

Drive the neighborhoods you're considering. Grab coffee on a random Tuesday morning. Sit in traffic at school pickup. Visit during the off season.

Those little moments will tell you so much more than a week at the beach ever could.

I also always encourage my clients to look beyond the pretty photos of a house.

Things like flood zones, insurance costs, future development, beach access, and even short-term rental restrictions can have a huge impact depending on where you're buying.

Some of those details even change from one street to the next.

Moving here is about so much more than finding a beautiful home. It's about making sure the lifestyle you're picturing is actually the one you'll get.

The date night restaurant I’ll recommend every single time someone asks.

The little boutique I walk into “just to look”… and somehow never leave empty handed.

Those are the places that slowly become part of your routine.

The ones you bring family to when they’re in town.

The ones your friends text you asking about.

The ones that quietly become part of what makes this place feel like home.
