Please help us welcome John Sallman as one of our Founding Members.
John is the Broker of Salt & Light Realty and has proudly served Niceville and the surrounding communities for the past 13 years with a people-first approach rooted in leadership, integrity, and service.
Before real estate, John built an impressive track record in hospitality and operations, serving as the General Manager of a Marriott property that achieved the #1 guest satisfaction ranking out of more than 700 Residence Inn hotels across North America. He also served as Director of Operations for one of the nation’s largest privately owned vacation rental companies, helping lead large-scale growth and operational excellence.
Beyond business, John is deeply connected to his community. He has served in Kids Ministry at Crosspoint for over a decade, is an active member of the Mid Bay Bridge Rotary Club, and will serve as Club President for the 2025–2026 term.
John and his wife Ashley have been married for 20 years and are proud parents to their daughters, Lorelai and Abigail, along with their two dogs, Link and Bailey, who probably run the house if we’re being realistic about pet economics.
A retired chef and passionate creative in the kitchen, John also enjoys making gumbo, BBQ, and sushi for family and friends.
We’re excited to have John as part of our Founding Member community and look forward to the impact, leadership, and authenticity he brings to the network.
