Thinking about buying a horse property in Norco? There's a lot more to consider than just the house! 🐴
Here's what I walk every equestrian buyer through before they fall in love with a place:
🐴 Zoning & animal limits — Not every lot in Norco is zoned for horses. And how many animals you're allowed to keep directly affects how many stalls you'll need and whether the lot is big enough for anything else.
🐴 The land — Lot shape and drainage matter just as much as size. A well-shaped half acre beats a bigger lot you can't actually use. And bigger lots are more in demand — and more expensive.
🐴 Facilities — What's already there and what condition is it in? Simple pipe stalls are easy to add. Covered stalls and barns require permits — and that affects your budget.
🐴 The neighborhood — Is riverbed trail access on your must-have list? What about a nearby public arena? And find out what your neighbors have — your horses might need a little time to get used to a llama or a dirt bike track next door. 😄
I've been helping buyers find the right horse properties in Norco for years. If you're ready to start your search, I'd love to help!
