Anyone can look good when the deal is easy. 😅

The smooth deals are nice, but honestly, the complicated ones have taught me the most.

A low appraisal. An inspection surprise. A tough negotiation. A buyer or seller having second thoughts. Things happen, and usually when you least expect them.

Over the years, I’ve learned that being a good Realtor isn’t about having every deal go perfectly. It’s about knowing what to do when it doesn’t.

Stay calm. Communicate. Find a solution. Keep everyone moving forward.

That’s probably one of the biggest lessons real estate has taught me. You can’t control everything that happens during a transaction, but you can control how you handle it.

So yes, I’ll happily take the easy deals 😂 But when things get complicated, that’s when I’m really in my element.

Buying or selling in the Atlanta real estate market? You want someone who’s been through the messy stuff too. 🏡

How to spot a realtor worth referring in Atlanta 🤩

It’s not just someone who knows the market or has hundreds of closings under their belt.

It's the agent who knows how to protect the people you send their way.

The agent worth referring is the one who can tell when a repair is worth pushing for, when an offer needs a closer look, when the house has red flags your friend might miss, or when the best advice is, “I know you love it, but I do not think this is the one.”

You are trusting someone with your friend, your coworker, your neighbor, or your family member, and I never forget that there is a real relationship behind every name sent my way.

The worst real estate advice in Atlanta sounds right until it costs you money.

I hear the same myths every week. From clients, from DMs, from people repeating something they read online without checking if it actually held up.

Some of these are harmless. Others have cost people tens of thousands or set their plans back by months.

I'd rather be the agent who gives you the honest answer now than the one who stays quiet and lets you learn it the hard way.
