I helped Julliane and Peter buy 743 Maury in 2023— they were moving from California, knew little to nothing about Norfolk, and were understandably nervous about such a big transition.
They built a life here. Friends that turned into family, and became dear friends of ours!
This February, I had the honor of helping them sell the home before heading off to Japan for their next big adventure.
While I (of course!) love opening doors and walking through homes with buyers, what I’m most proud of is everything that happens behind the scenes:
• The strategy that goes into pricing and positioning a home.�• The ability to spot red flags before my clients ever have to deal with them.
• Writing strong, clean contracts that protect my clients.
• Negotiating not just price, but terms, timelines, and risk.
• Managing all of the moving pieces from contract to close so nothing falls through the cracks.
Whether it’s someone buying their very first home or their tenth (or hundredth), my role is the same: to advocate, to protect, and to guide them through one of the biggest financial (and emotional) decisions they’ll make.
That’s the part of this job I don’t take lightly, and the part that makes me so proud of the business I’ve built.
