What’s happening with home prices across Hampton Roads/ Coastal Virginia?

The latest data from REIN (our local MLS) shows a more balanced picture across the Seven Cities this February. See the growth for specific cities below.

Historically, 3–5% annual price growth is considered a healthy, normal range.

Overall for Hampton Roads, the median sales price reached $355,000 — up 2.6% from last year.

👉 What this means:
The market isn’t moving in one direction everywhere. Some cities are seeing strong price increases while others are leveling out.
***That’s why local data matters more than national headlines when you're thinking about buying or selling.*****
