Combining 12 years of real estate experience, resulting in 200+ closed transactions, with her personal integrity and client service, Katie Howlett’s focus is always on the total satisfaction of her clients. She has delved into many facets of real estate to bring to her clients the knowledge and counsel that only such deep involvement can deliver. Born and raised in Norfolk, Katie’s real estate career has taken her to California, New York and Virginia. Being licensed and working in three states has given her a broad understanding of the real estate process, and has helped her better relate to clients who are moving to Hampton Roads from other states where the process and laws are different. Katie’s professional experience spans across several aspects of the real estate industry. Her specialties include first-time home buyers, investment properties, flips,
bank-owned properties and short sales. While Katie’s recent attention has been directed toward residential resales, she also is highly capable and experienced in new home sales and development marketing. She began in new home sales as the Team Leader for the marketing and sales team of Atria, a condo conversion in downtown San Diego’s Marina District. Upon returning to Norfolk in 2006, Katie joined Nancy Chandler Associates® and was hired to market and sell The Row at Ghent, an 84-unit condominium in Norfolk. In 2014, Katie joined the sales and marketing team for 551W21st, a new construction luxury high-rise designed by the noted architects, Foster & Partners, in the West Chelsea area of New York City. The youngest of six children of the late Judy and Sweetie Howlett, Katie is married to Andrew Kramer, also a Norfolk native. Katie is extremely close to her extended family, and is happily immersed in the lives of 16 nieces and nephews. During her leisure time, she enjoys everything to do with the water, traveling, skiing and making new friends. Her volunteerism includes acting as a Board Member of The Sweetie Howlett Memorial Scholarship Foundation, and helping ForKids, and The Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.
