After attending Wootton H.S. in Rockville, I pursued my degree in finance from the University of Maryland. Upon graduation, I quickly obtained my CPA designation and began my career working the following fifteen years in both the public and private accounting sectors mostly in the areas of construction, real estate investment and development. In 2002, I began my real estate brokerage company, Wilcox Properties in Rockville, Maryland. For the following twelve years I focused on residential brokerage and mortgage banking in, and around Montgomery Country, Maryland. In 2014, I decided to join forces with the Gateway office of Long & Foster in Bethesda, Maryland. I am glad I did. The Gateway office is second to none in terms support staff and productivity; the Gateway office is perennially one of the most productive offices not only for Long & Foster but for offices of all real estate companies throughout Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Although I work with buyers and sellers throughout Maryland, most of my clients move to, or from Montgomery County. When I am not helping my clients with their real estate needs, you may find me cycling through the historic areas surrounding Washington, kayaking down the Potomac or Monocacy Rivers, or attending a yoga class. I have two daughters; Alison who teaches first-grade in Montgomery County, and Amber who is working on her masters in Epidemiology at George Washington University in Washington D.C.
