This has been going on for far too long. The HVCC, a settlement agreement between two State’s Attorneys General and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, was forced onto appraisers in all US states and territories. The HVCC what is sunset with the signing of the Dodd, Frank Act. The Dodd Frank Act gave no real protection or appraisers.
