🏡 Bedroom or Not a Bedroom?

A room generally needs a few key features to be considered a bedroom:

✅ Proper egress (a window or door for emergency escape)
✅ Enough square footage to meet code requirements
✅ Adequate ceiling height
✅ A permanent heat source
✅ Safe access from the rest of the home

🚫 Contrary to popular belief, a closet is not always required by building code to call a room a bedroom, though buyers often expect one.
