Juanita, of Excel Real Estate Charleston, is a 30 plus year veteran of the Real Estate industry. While attending college as well as Cosmetology school, I landed my first job in the Real Estate industry as a “Girl Friday” (lol yes a girl Friday) I was working in Property Management and then vwala! I have held the titles of Leasing Agent, Asst. Property Manager, Property Manager, Senior Property Man
ager and Compliance Specialist. When moving to the beautiful state of South Carolina in 2003, I continued to work in Property Management but felt I was missing something. I then decided to get my Real Estate license in 2006 and found the missing link. Since 2006, I’ve assisted many buyers, sellers, investors and also continuing to work with renters and preparing them to become homeowners and I truly LOVE every moment of it both the good and the bad. Juanita has built a solid foundation of clients in this community through her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to always put her client’s needs first. One may say Real Estate and Property Management has nothing to do with Psychology, Business Management or Cosmetology (which is what I went to school for) but I beg to differ because all my education pertained to dealing with people. Passionate about people and relationships, Juanita has continued to leverage her know-how and experience to exceed her client’s expectations. Active in the community, Juanita has and continues to be a proud part numerous charities, Oliver Gospel Mission, About the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina as well as Habitat for Humanity to name a few.

In her free time, Juanita is an avid crafter and loves water aerobics. Spending time with her family and friends, grandchildren and mom as well as her dog Brahmin is never something Juanita takes for granted. “Going home and spending time with your family and your real friends keeps you grounded.”
