I actually love being up this high because it reminds me that staying low is not the goal. Playing small is not the goal. Thinking beneath what is possible is not the goal. Growth will call you higher. Purpose will call you higher. Vision will call you higher. And if you keep going, one day you will look around and realize you are standing in spaces you once only imagined.

So no, I do not want to go back to smaller thinking.
I do not want to go back to doubting every next step.
I do not want to go back to living like the sky was the limit when maybe it was only the beginning.

I love being up this high because it reminds me that there is still more in me, more for me, and more ahead of me.
And this view?
It is not just something to admire.
It is confirmation that higher is possible.

Michigan, it was great while it lasted! The people in your corner matter. I’m grateful for my brothers from other mothers.

Madam President SALUTE to you 💐

There have been moments in my career that felt big as it was happening, and it hit me that I was witnessing history from the front row.

Serving on the board during her presidency wasn’t just a seat at a table…it was exposure to leadership that shifted the standard. Not performative. Not symbolic. Katesha is decisive, grounded, and unapologetically forward-moving.

She carried the responsibility of FIRST!

And anyone who understands leadership knows… going first comes with pressure most people will never see or feel.

What stood out for me wasn’t just the milestone. It was her consistency, her composure, and her ability to lead an entire body of professionals while still pushing a larger conversation forward.

That’s the part people don’t talk about enough!!

Leadership at that level requires more than vision. It requires the ability to move people who don’t always agree and do it with clarity and conviction.
