⚠️ 5:50am Friday Update:

Good news, everyone! We have been notified by Santee Cooper that the second series of water samples have passed all safety tests. City of Goose Creek water is safe to drink, and the Boil Water Advisory has officially been lifted.

There is also no longer a need to limit water use in your home or business.

Thanks to Santee Cooper for the great work this week, and for staying in constant communication with us.

And most importantly, a huge THANK YOU to our residents for your patience and cooperation this week. We appreciate you.

Santee Cooper is actively testing water samples from the damaged Lake Moultrie Regional Water System main line to ensure no harmful bacteria are present. The state requires a testing series that takes 48 hours, which means results would be available Friday morning. If those results show the water is safe for consumption, affected water agencies would then be able to lift their boil water advisories.
