Sometimes an event is so much more than the event itself. Our 3rd Annual Friend Raiser Benefit Concert was more than an event; it was a gathering filled with music, laughter, familiar faces, new friends, and an extraordinary sense of community.

Our benefit concert, featuring Jed Wilson and Heather Masse, joined by special guest Dave Kobrenski, raised more than $32,000 to support the Way Station and our mission to provide services, connection, and support to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity throughout Carroll County.

While our greatest success could not be measured in dollars, the heart of the evening brought together residents of the Mt. Washington Valley, visitors, volunteers, donors, local businesses, and longtime Way Station supporters. Guests filled the performing arts center, tapping their toes, singing along, and enjoying a joyful, spontaneous evening of deep human connection.

The Way Station extends its heartfelt thanks to every person, business, organization, volunteer, musician, donor, and supporter who helped make the 3rd Annual Friend Raiser possible.

🙏 This Sunday, we pause from the bustle of racks and shelves to simply say thank you. To every donor who walked through our doors with bags of gently loved items—you gave more than objects; you gave opportunity. To every volunteer who sorted, steamed, priced, and arranged with patient hands and cheerful hearts—you are the quiet engine that keeps this place running. Your time is a gift we do not take for granted, and your faithfulness humbles us. This thrift shop is not a building; it is a living chain of kindness, and you are every link.

🕊️ And to every customer who browses, buys, and carries a little piece of our shop into your home—you complete the circle. Your purchases transform donated goods into tangible help for neighbors in need right here in the Mount Washington valley. Because of you, families find warmth, children find comfort, and struggling hearts find a hand up. This is the mission of Christ Episcopal Church made real—not in grand sermons, but in small, daily acts of giving and receiving. We are deeply grateful to be part of this valley, and part of this shared story of care.

We are open Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. along with Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out last night to support our mission and listen to the incredibly talented Heather Masse & Jed Wilson in Concert to benefit Way Station!

Thank you to all of our sponsors and donors! Each donor's generosity, along with each story, reinforces our certainty that we must continue our work. We are making an impact on the issue of homelessness in Carroll County, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us to support our neighbors.

Thank you friends at Eversource NH who are able to support us as an Operations Sponsor!

Donations allow us to support the homeless and housing-insecure populations of the Mt. Washington Valley area.

Our footprint has expanded beyond the immediate Mount Washington Valley to serve the wider part of Carroll County. As the only active nonprofit directly addressing homelessness in this county, our staff travels each week to bring our services directly to clients in various locations to provide food, supplies, and check-ins. Volunteers deliver groceries to clients on a limited route.
