The Berry Companies are proud to celebrate a milestone moment!

The Eastern Slope Inn has been named “Best Hotel” in the Mt. Washington Valley by readers of The Conway Daily Sun — a fitting honor as the Inn marks its 100th anniversary this July.

“The Eastern Slope Inn has stood as a symbol of timeless hospitality since 1926,” said Alec Tarberry, President of The Berry Companies. “This recognition reflects the care and pride our team brings to every guest experience. I know my father, Joe Berry, would be deeply proud of what they’ve achieved.”

Completed in July 1926 after two earlier hotels were lost to fire, the Inn remains a North Conway landmark — blending history, heart, and hospitality for generations of travelers.

After months of anticipation from guests and locals, 27 North will take over the fully renovated former Flatbread space in the heart of North Conway Village—bringing their creative comfort food, 40+ mimosa flavors, and signature hospitality to our historic resort.

This marks the return of full breakfast service to Eastern Slope Inn for the first time in decades, and we’re proud to be part of this exciting next chapter.

🎉 The new location is targeting a November 2025 opening. The original 27 North location remains open and fully operational in the meantime.
