Cold months are coming. Now is a good time to start your winter preparations before it gets too cold. Here are a few tips…
-Test run your home furnace to make sure everything is working properly and ready for the cold. Call an HVAC technician if you suspect something is wrong or if you would like to have a yearly maintenance performed.

-replace your filters. Your furnace will have an air filter and this will@increase the efficiency and protection of your system and air quality.

-change your humidifier filter. Some homes have a whole house humidifier connected to your furnace. This filter needs to be replaced as well.

-caulk your windows and any exposures you might have on the exterior of your home to deter drafts and the cold air from getting.
