A Life Well-Lived

It is with deep regret and an extremely heavy heart, that this part of life has ended, sooner than it should have. Unfortunately we lost our founder last week.

Anyone who knew Jane knows exactly how she was.

She was a force of nature whose vibrant spirit touched all who knew her. Her passion for real estate was eclipsed only by her love for people - she had an insatiable curiosity about others lives (sometimes too much if you knew her) and an unmatched ability to make fast friends.

Janes gift of gab and warm personality drew people in, while her sharp intellect and genuine interest ensured she connected with them in a meaningful way. There is no one she didn't know, and in most cases she also knew everything about them.

She was the consummate host, opening her home and heart to friends and family. Above all, Janes kindness and generosity shone through in her willingness to lend an ear or a helping hand to anyone in need, without expectation of anything in return.

The world is a little less bright without her in it, but Janes beautiful legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched.

So while New England Real Estate closes its doors, Jane, I am sure, is in heaven trying to sell clouds to all her new and old friends

You were a friend, sometimes a mentor, you always made us laugh, and you will most certainly be missed

A lot of times we get asked about the term escrow. The long and short of it is, a place where funds are held to protect all parties, and will set the guidelines of how and when the transfer of funds will happen.

Not every deal happens flawlessly, and sometimes funds will be held till after the closing, to ensure certain things have been done.

In todays world, things happen, parts are back ordered, contractor cannot do repairs until after the close and so on. But if parties agree, you can still move forward.
