Hi everyone,

This is a reminder that Karaoke in the Park is still a go for today, Friday, September 25th, from 6PM to 8PM at Macken Park's Festival Shelter (the same shelter used for Music in the Park), despite the rain! We will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and beverages! See ya there!

NATIONAL POW / MIA RECOGNITION DAY
Friday, September 18, 2026
This commemoration is set aside to honor the commitment and sacrifices made by this nation's prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action, as well as thier families.
Americans are asked to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by the military men and women who are imprisoned or unaccounted for as a result of their military service.
The Legion remains committed to achieving a full accounting of all U.S. Service members from all war eras who are either imprisoned or listed as missing in action.
As part of this commitment, it encourages a return of living POWs repatriation of the remains of the fallen from war zones abroad, or a determination through convincing that neither is possible.
