Wasatch Pointe is a hotel style apartment complex for active seniors. We have a beautiful complex with granite countertops, an activity center, pool, whirlpool bath, valet trash service 2 days a week, a fitness center and 2 elevators for easy access to the second and third floors.

Due to the nature of our complex we are currently unable to accept applications from individuals younger than 55 at this time. Please keep in mind there only needs to be at least 1 person in the household that is 55 or older. No applicants under the age of 18 are allowed to reside at this community.

Duties will include basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, HVAC troubleshooting, painting and grounds at an apartment community. You will respond to service requests for repairs needed in resident apartment homes. Snow removal in the winter and on call duties are required in a rotation (approximately every 6 weeks) with other co-workers.

*Knowledge of appliance repairs, plumbing, and electrical. Willing to learn and advance a big plus! Looking for a go-getter attitude!

* Good verbal and written communication skills.

* Good customer service skills

* Ability to work independently and organize tasks.

* Flexibility to be on call. (about every 6 weeks)

* Must have a valid driver's license

* Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and vehicle insurance.

*Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

This position is a great entry office position with promotion potential. Looking for someone who is positive, has a great attitude, is honest, kind, loves working with people, punctual, quick learner, and has a professional appearance. If you have a go-getter attitude and pay attention to detail, this is a great starting position for you.

Duties such as:

Meeting potential renters and guiding them on tours of available units
Following up on leads for potential renters
Answer office phone professionally and provide excellent customer service
Performing background checks, credit checks and other responsibilities to see if prospective renters are qualified
Preparing leasing documents for potential renters using property standards and regulations
Handling the collection of rent payments, security deposits and application fees
Keeping residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property issues
Building a rapport with current tenants to give them personalized service
Keeping an eye on community facilities such as mailrooms, fitness centers and laundry rooms
Maintains clean office and files necessary paperwork
Reports to the property manager and completes all jobs as asked by supervisor
Position is 40 hours per week, usually Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. Will work at 2 properties in Logan. A Saturday may be required, but not often.
Bonuses offered in addition to hourly pay.

We are so excited about our most recent Notes for Neighbors delivery to Wasatch Pointe Apartments for all their senior residents!
This table was set up in the club house so that residents could come get a flower gram, joke card, and/or an encouraging note!

We hope they enjoyed them. We are so grateful for our senior volunteers being willing to make these to brighten the day of other aging community members. ☀️
