DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that the National Association of Realtors has recently implemented new rules for agents?
Realtors are now required to have a written agreement for any showing(s) with prospective buyers. This agreement precedes a buyer agency agreement, although for serious buyers who are ready, its best to enter a buyer agreement from the start.
Furthermore, commissions are no longer allowed to be listed on the public listing, therefore Realtors must make sure their client has a clear understanding on how the commission will work specific to each home that is under consideration, as the seller may not necessarily be offering buyer agent compensation anymore.
Now more than ever, you need a Realtor that is up to date and trained on all of the new forms. I encourage your commission questions! Give me a call if you are looking for homes!
